A Mobile Car Wash and Detailing Service Built for Long Driveways and Big Garages

Cars work hard out here. Households in the Hills District tend to run two, three or four vehicles, and every one of them clocks up serious kilometres — the school run through Cherrybrook and West Pennant Hills, the commute down Windsor Road from Kellyville, the weekend trailer run out past Round Corner. Then the environment does its bit: gum and jacaranda sap, bore and tank water spotting on acreage at Kenthurst and Arcadia, clay dust off unsealed driveways at Middle Dural and Cattai, and fine construction dust drifting across the newer estates at Gables, North Kellyville and Kellyville Ridge. Paint out this way collects a very particular set of problems.

Motrivo exists to undo all of that without costing you half a weekend. Rather than queueing at a wash bay at Castle Hill or dropping the car somewhere and organising a lift home, our detailer comes to your address with everything the job needs. You keep working, the kids keep doing whatever they are doing, and the car gets a genuine multi-stage detail instead of a rushed rinse and a spray of gloss.

We are not a franchise handing your keys to a rotating cast of contractors. The same checklist, the same machines and the same finishing products go on every car, whether it is a family SUV in a Baulkham Hills garage, a work ute on an Annangrove property, or an executive sedan in a basement bay at Bella Vista.

What We Do

Interior Detailing, Sap Decontamination and Sealant Protection

Every booking is a full detail, not a wash-and-go. Here is exactly what happens in your driveway.

Interior Car Detailing and Deep Extraction

Full vacuum including under the seats and along every rail, hot-water extraction on carpets and cloth seats where it is needed, leather cleaned and conditioned, vents and console detailed with brushes, and glass finished streak-free. School-run crumbs, sports kit, dog hair through the cargo area and the red dust that comes off an unsealed driveway are treated as standard work here, not billed as surprise extras.

Exterior Wash, Sap Removal and Decontamination

Pre-rinse, a snow foam dwell to float off dust and road film, a safe two-bucket contact wash with fresh mitts, wheels and arches cleaned with dedicated tools, tar, sap and iron fallout removed, then a clay bar stage on Signature Plus so the paint is glass-smooth before protection goes on. Door shuts, sills and fuel flaps get their own pass, because that is where grit hides.

Paint Protection and Sealant for Dusty Driveways

A hydrophobic sealant that beads hard, sheds dust and makes the next few washes far easier. On dark cars it visibly deepens the colour, and on any car parked under trees or near an active build site it is the single best thing you can do between details. For swirl marks and etching that no sealant can hide, our Elite Correction machine-polishing service is the honest answer.

Engine Bay and Odour Treatment

Degrease, gentle rinse and dressing of the engine bay — worth more than most people think on a car that spends its life on dusty acreage tracks — plus an ozone treatment that neutralises pet, food, gym and damp-towel odours at the source rather than covering them. Both are included in the Signature Plus package.

Car Detailing Prices Across the Hills

Two straightforward Hills District detailing packages, no vehicle-size loading and no travel fee anywhere between Beecroft and Cattai. The Signature Detail is $299 and covers a complete interior and exterior detail in roughly 3 to 4 hours. Signature Plus is $429 and adds clay bar decontamination, engine bay cleaning, a hydrophobic sealant and an ozone odour treatment across 5 to 6 hours. Elite Correction, our multi-stage paint correction package, is available on request for cars that need swirls and holograms cut out properly rather than filled and hidden for a fortnight.

The Process

How Our Hills District Mobile Detailing Booking Works

Four steps anywhere in the Hills District: no drop-off, no waiting room, no surprises.

01

Tell us your street and your car

Book online or call 0461 486 126. We only need the suburb, the type of vehicle and whether the space is covered. A Kenthurst acreage, a Winston Hills townhouse and a Bella Vista office car park are each planned differently.

02

We arrive with the full kit

The van carries every product, machine and tool the job needs. All we ask for is access to a water source and a power point at your place, plus roughly one car length of clearance around the vehicle so we can work all the way around it.

03

The detail runs start to finish

Decontamination first, then paint, then interior, then protection and finishing. Nothing gets skipped to hit a time slot, and on long open driveways at Glenhaven and Middle Dural we work panel by panel so nothing dries in the sun before it is wiped.

04

Walkaround, then you pay

We hand the car back, walk around it with you in daylight, and only then take payment. No deposit is taken when you book, and there is no cancellation fee if the weather turns on us.

Local Knowledge

Sap, Bore Water and Building Dust: What Hills Living Does to Paint

A section you will not find on any of our other pages, because these problems belong to this corner of Sydney.

Tree sap and leaf fall never really stop

The tree canopy is one of the best things about living here and one of the worst things for paint. Gums through Cherrybrook, West Pennant Hills and Beecroft drop sap and gum litter year round, jacarandas coat cars in sticky flowers for weeks, and the orchard and nursery belt around Dural, Round Corner and Glenhaven adds its own mix. Sap bonds into clear coat within days in summer heat, so we lift it chemically and follow with a clay bar stage rather than scraping at it.

Bore, tank and hard water spotting on acreage

Plenty of properties at Kenthurst, Arcadia, Annangrove, Cattai and Kerrieville run tank or bore water with a high mineral load. Wash the car yourself and let it flash-dry in the sun and you get white mineral spots baked onto glass and paint that a normal wash will never remove. We dry properly as we go, and where spotting has already etched in we treat it as a decontamination job, not a wash job.

Construction dust across the new estates

Gables, North Kellyville, Kellyville Ridge and the newer pockets of Kellyville are still actively building, and fine cement and clay dust drifts onto every car parked outside. That dust is abrasive: wipe it off dry with a cloth and you install swirl marks straight into the clear coat. We foam and rinse before anything touches the panel, which is the whole reason those cars come up better than owners expect.

Long commutes, hot garages and interior wear

A car doing Windsor Road or the M2 from Baulkham Hills, Winston Hills or Castle Hill five days a week accumulates brake dust on the wheels, film on the windscreen and grime on the door cards faster than a car that stays local. Add school sport, dogs and takeaway runs and the interior does most of the ageing. Hot-water extraction and an ozone treatment reset it far more thoroughly than any wipe-down.

Five Kinds of Driveway We Detail Across the Hills

Knowing which of these you have tells us what to bring and how long to allow.

The acreage and horse-property block

Kenthurst, Arcadia, Annangrove, Cattai, Kerrieville and Middle Dural give us all the space we could want, usually with a shed, a hardstand and power nearby. The variables are the long unsealed run to the house, which throws dust back over a finished car, and tank or bore water at the tap. We set up and finish nearest the sealed section, and we bring our own drying process so mineral spotting never gets a chance to bake in.

The large family driveway

Castle Hill, Glenhaven, Baulkham Hills and Kellyville are full of wide brick or exposed-aggregate driveways with a double garage behind them. These are the easiest bookings we run: plenty of room to work all the way around the car, shade nearby, and a tap and power point usually within a few metres. They are also where multi-car bookings make the most sense.

The leafy established street

Cherrybrook, West Pennant Hills and Beecroft sit under heavy canopy, which keeps the house cool and keeps sap, gum litter and bird mess landing on the car. Working in shade is a genuine advantage — nothing dries mid-wipe — but these cars almost always need a decontamination stage before polish or sealant, so allow the extra time.

The new estate driveway

Gables, North Kellyville and Kellyville Ridge have neat, compact frontages, young trees and often an active build a few doors down. Space is tighter, so we ask for about a car length of clearance, and construction dust means the pre-rinse and foam stages do more work than usual. A sealant pays for itself faster here than almost anywhere else in the region.

The apartment, townhouse and business park bay

Bella Vista, Winston Hills, Baulkham Hills and central Castle Hill have plenty of units, villas and office towers where the car sits in a basement or a shared bay. We need a reachable tap and power point, and in some buildings we will park nearby and run our lines in. Strata or facilities approval is occasionally required for commercial work on site, so it is worth a quick check before the day.

Mobile car detailing near me — what that means street by street

“Near me” is doing a lot of heavy lifting in most searches. In practice, detailing a car in a Bella Vista basement car space is a completely different job to detailing one on a five-acre Kenthurst block with a bore tap and a gravel turning circle, or on a compact Gables frontage with a slab pour happening two doors up. Distance matters too: Beecroft and Cattai are the better part of an hour apart, which is why we schedule geographically rather than first-come-first-served.

We plan for those differences before we arrive, and that is the practical difference between a genuinely local operator working these suburbs every week and a city-wide service that treats every postcode the same.

Mobile detailing Hills District, six days a week

Weekday mornings are usually wide open, weekday afternoons suit workplace bookings around Bella Vista, Castle Hill and Norwest-adjacent Baulkham Hills, and Saturdays fill first with family cars from Kellyville, North Kellyville, Cherrybrook and Glenhaven. If you have a preferred window, book it a few days out and it is yours.

Don’t Just Take Our Word for It…

See What Our Customers Have to Say!

Why Locals Choose a Fully Mobile Detailer in the Hills District

The obvious reason is time, and out here time means driving. A proper detail is three to six hours of work, and nobody wants to add a round trip down Old Northern Road or Windsor Road to that, then organise someone to collect them. When we come to you, those hours cost you nothing — you work, you take a call, you get the kids where they need to be, and the car is finished when you come back outside.

The less obvious reason is quality control. In your own driveway you can see every stage. You watch the foam go on, you see the sap come off the roof, and at the end we walk around the car together in natural daylight before any money changes hands. Nothing is hidden behind a roller door, and there is no upsell sprung on you at a counter.

Then there is the pricing. Most detailers load their price by vehicle size, so the family seven-seater costs a third more than the hatch — which is a real problem in a region full of large SUVs, dual cabs and people movers. We charge $299 flat, whether it is a small commuter at Winston Hills or a big 4WD at Annangrove. Combined with no deposit and payment only after the walkaround, there is very little left to think about.

It also helps that we know the area. A detailer who understands that a car parked under gums at Beecroft needs a different plan to one washed with bore water at Arcadia brings the right consumables the first time, and that is the quiet advantage of booking mobile detailing in the Hills District with a team that works here every week rather than passing through on the way somewhere else.

Car detailing Castle Hill, Kellyville and Dural — three very different jobs

A Castle Hill car is usually a commuter and a family car in one: heavy brake dust, shopping-centre car park marks along the doors, a busy interior and paint that has spent years in an open driveway. A Kellyville or North Kellyville car is often newer, so the priority shifts to protection — keeping construction dust and estate grit from writing swirls into fresh clear coat. A Dural, Middle Dural or Kenthurst car is a property car: sap, gum litter, clay dust in the door shuts, a towbar and tray that have done real work, and mineral spotting from the tank tap.

Booking the same package in all three suburbs gets you the same checklist with a different emphasis, and that is deliberate. Tell us which of those three your car is closest to when you book and we will load the van accordingly.

Hills mobile detailing for fleets, dealership-standard presentation and pre-sale details

We also handle small fleets, trade utes, company cars and pre-sale presentation details from Beecroft through to Cattai. For businesses running vehicles out of Bella Vista and Castle Hill, a scheduled detail cycle keeps the interiors liveable, the signage looking newer and the cars presentable in front of clients. If you are selling privately, a Signature Plus before the photos routinely pays for itself several times over — a decontaminated, sealed car photographs sharper and holds a buyer’s attention on a listing far longer than a rinsed one. And for the tradies working out of Annangrove, Kenthurst and Round Corner, a regular interior reset makes the truck a much better place to spend a ten-hour day.

FAQ

Hills District Mobile Detailing Questions, Answered

How much does mobile detailing in the Hills District cost?+

Our Signature Detail is a flat $299 no matter what you drive. A hatch at Winston Hills, a seven-seater at North Kellyville and a dual cab ute on an Annangrove acreage all pay exactly the same — no size loading, no travel surcharge between any of the suburbs we cover from Beecroft up to Cattai, and no card fee. Signature Plus is $429 and adds clay bar decontamination, engine bay cleaning, a hydrophobic paint sealant and an ozone odour treatment. You pay after the service, once we have walked around the car together in daylight.

Do you really come to my place, or do I drop the car off?+

We come to you, every time. The detail happens in your driveway, garage, carport, apartment car space or workplace car park. We do need access to a tap and a power point at the location, so it is worth checking both are reachable from where the car sits — especially on a long Kenthurst or Arcadia block where the house tap can be a hundred metres from where the cars park. Tell us when you book and we will plan the leads and hose accordingly.

How long does a detail take?+

The Signature Detail runs about 3 to 4 hours. Signature Plus is closer to 5 to 6 hours because of the decontamination and sealant stages. Elite Correction, our multi-stage paint correction, is a full-day job. Cars coming off unsealed driveways around Middle Dural, Cattai and Kerrieville with baked-on clay dust and gum sap can add half an hour, and we tell you that before we start rather than after.

What happens if it rains?+

A garage, carport or covered driveway means we work straight through, and a huge share of Hills homes have one. If you are on an open driveway at Gables or Kellyville Ridge and the weather turns, we call you the morning of the booking and move you to the next available slot at no cost. There is no deposit and no cancellation fee, so a rescheduled day costs you nothing.

Can you remove tree sap, bore water spotting and construction dust?+

Yes, and out this way that is most of the job. Sap from gums, jacarandas and the orchard trees around Dural and Glenhaven bonds hard to clear coat, bore and tank water leaves mineral spotting that a normal wash will not shift, and the estates at Gables, North Kellyville and Box-Hill-adjacent Kellyville Ridge throw fine construction dust across every parked car. We treat all three with chemical decontamination and a clay bar stage rather than scrubbing at the paint, then seal so the next round sits on the coating instead of the panel.

Do you detail cars at apartments, business parks and at work?+

Constantly. The apartment towers and business park around Bella Vista, the office and retail parking at Castle Hill, and the townhouse complexes through Baulkham Hills and Cherrybrook are some of our busiest weekday bookings. Leave the keys at reception or in a lockbox, tell us where the car is parked and whether a tap and power point are available, and we will send photos when the job is done. Some strata and corporate car parks require building approval for commercial work, so a quick check saves a wasted trip.

Which suburbs do you cover out here?+

Dural, Kenthurst, Glenhaven, Middle Dural, Round Corner, Cherrybrook, West Pennant Hills, Beecroft, Castle Hill, Bella Vista, Baulkham Hills, Winston Hills, Annangrove, Cattai, Kerrieville, Arcadia, Gables, Kellyville, Kellyville Ridge and North Kellyville. One flat price applies across all of them, with no travel fee between any two.

Do I need to provide water or power?+

Yes. We need access to a water source and a power point at your location so we can work safely and to the standard we promise. On acreage at Arcadia, Annangrove and Cattai that often means a tank or bore tap and an outdoor GPO in the shed — both are fine, we simply need to know in advance. Tell us when you book and we will sort the practicalities with you before the day.

Can you detail more than one car in the same visit?+

Yes, and it is very common here. Three and four-car households at Kenthurst, Castle Hill and Glenhaven often book back-to-back details on the same day, which saves you a second morning and lets us set up once. Just tell us how many vehicles and what they are so we can allocate the right window.

Is a mobile detail as good as a workshop detail?+

The van carries the same machines, pads, compounds, extractors and sealants a fixed workshop uses — the difference is the postcode, not the standard. The one advantage a workshop has is a roof, which is why we ask about covered space when you book. The advantage you get is watching every stage happen at home and only paying once you are happy with the result.

How do I book?+

Book online through our booking page, call 0461 486 126, or email contact@motrivo.com.au. There is no deposit — you pay after the service once you have inspected the car. Saturday mornings around Castle Hill and Kellyville fill first, so a few days' notice helps us give you the time you actually want.
